Please revert to showing substitute Vitals data in pop-up
I don't know if this falls within your "remit", or if this is the work of another engineering team. Data is no longer shown in the box (illustrated) unless inputs have been made on the Details page to the Birth and Death fields. This is a change to how things were until recently, whereby, if there were no such entries, Christening and Burial data would appear instead.
This is seriously slowing down my work from the Details / New Person Page, as I can no longer flip through a list of children to check / confirm for approximate places of birth / death. If unknown, I have deliberately not completed the Birth / Death fields, as (for older records particularly) any detail one does have is likely to relate to a much wider area (e.g. a county, in England) than the vicinity of the christening / burial, which is likely to pinpoint the precise place of the event much better.
Please escalate this, if you can. It's making things so difficult for me - and I'm sure many other users, who constantly keep profiles under review. Thanks.
Charles was baptised at Monk Hesledon, Durham, England and very likely born close by, but as I haven't found the precise location I have left the Birth field blank. Previously, the christening data would have been included here, but - very annoyingly - that is no longer the case:

BTW - Do you expect any of the teams will ever adopt the excellent - and highly successful idea - of developing an area of Family Tree in conjunction with its users - by setting up dedicated groups?
For example, as far as I am aware, there is no "group" for specific suggestions on the current revision of the source linking process (which more savvy users have found being tested in the beta version).
I thought the New Person Page group might set a precedence for a new collaborative relationship between engineers / developers and us everyday users - now I'm not so optimistic. If possible, please liaise with your colleagues and try to convince them of this better approach to implementing enhanced / new features!

I assume this flaw crept in due to revising the slide-out panel on the new pedigree and using the top portion of that panel as the new pop up summary everywhere:
I would hope that side panel is not yet in it's final form and will get the Christening/Burial substitution for missing Birth/Death information back in place soon.
That fact that the side panel now wastes space showing the birth and death information twice when it is present is a different issue that I hope is being addressed.
I do like the look of this new side panel but think it would be even better to remove all vital information from the box outlined in red to save room when it is used in the side out but show birth or christening and death or burial when it is used as an independent pop up elsewhere.

More context on this issue is also available in this discussion: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/152350/show-christening-data-as-an-alternative-to-birth-data-when-no-birth-data-is-available
Note that the older popup is still being used in the Fan Chart and it helpfully still includes the Christening event when there is no Birth event (and Burial when there is no Death details). That same fallback algorithm should be used in the new popup and in the sidebar.

Thank you, The team is looking into the bug.
