You can now click the website icons in the right side bar of a person page. If you click the FamilySearch logo, the system will conduct a record search of all FamilySearch indexed source records and present you with a set of search results, which you can iterate on in the right side bar search form as needed.

Clicking the little person icon on the right side of each search results will launch the SourceLinker and allow you to attach the record personas in that record to the searched for individual in your CET and to each of the corresponding tree persons around in that individual who are in the record.

Enjoy, and let us know if you encounter anything unexpected or which could be improved.

All,
Today the engineering teams turned on a new feature for all testers. In place of the previous "Coming Soon" message on the Tree Details page, you should all now see the "Latest Changes" feature. It is a chronological list of all the changes that have taken place in your tree. This new feature shows you: 1) Who changed, 2) What changed, 3) Why it changed, 4) When it changed, 5) Who made the change, and 6) a link directly to the change so you can evaluate it and revert it if you need to.

You will see a list of the last 5-6 changes that have taken place, and there will be a "Show All" button at the bottom left. If you click this button, you will see a list of all changes with an "Options" tool in the top right. This "Options" tool allow you to filter the list by date, or by who made the change. You can also reverse the list to see oldest and newest changes at the top.

Please try out this new feature and let us know what you think. We would LOVE to receive your feedback on any refinements that would ensure this meets your research needs.

Robert Kehrer, sr product manager, FamilySearch

I uploaded a GEDCOM created by Ancestry.com to create a CET. In looking at the entries I found a person who had more information in the Ancestry/GEDCOM than appeared in the FamilySearch Family Tree. In other words, the Ancestry/GEDCOM person had not been synced with the Family Tree person. To do this, I had the CET open in Ancestry and the FamilySearch Family Tree opened in Edge. The Idea here is see if Ancestry can see the CET. I can't show all the details here in this discussion because it will not work with the screenshots I made so I am switching over to an email.
