Land Deeds
Can anyone help me locate 14 August 1778 entry # 1384 James Templeton 200 acres in Rowan County North Carolina, it may be Rowan County North Carolina British Colonial America. Also, 14 August 1778 entry # 1383 John Templeton same location. This entry resulted in State Grant # 204 dated 21 March 1780 to John Templeton. Thanks for any help.

2. State Grant #1727 dated 11 July 1788 to John Templeton Rowan County North Carolina.
This was previously entry #642 dated 25 March 1778 to Robert Chambers.
3. John Templeton land grant dated January 9, 1761 and surveyed February 6, 1753, Rowan County North Carolina.

I have gotten a lot of help. Could use some help on one more document.
James Templeton - it could be listed as Temple James, the ton may have dissipated over the years, Rowan Co. NC land deed 400 acres dated January 9, 1761. It appears in Book 2 page 223. This Rowan County NC became Iredell Co. NC in 1788. I assume the book and page # are Iredell Co. NC Deed Books.
