Pennsylvania Septennial Census

I just accidently learned of this and I don't find it on the familysearch wiki under census'.

I don't have the know how to add it to the wiki. I discovered it on ancestry.com

@Joyce Ann Gillett The PA Septennial Censuses were made every seven years from tax lists. You can view tax lists for most counties in Pennsylvania for every year. Look for them in the FamilySearch Catalog under the appropriate county. They are a wonderful way to fill in the gaps between censuses!

This is the best kept secret for Pennsylvania I do believe. I hope to break through some of those walls that have been up for a long time.

It may as well be called a census/tax list.

Ancestry has a database for these census records.
