Jamaica DGS issue

@Tomlinsonkl
I just submitted a Record Issue report on a problematic DGS.Sadly, the form requires the URL of the image being reported. When the problem is that we cannot see the image because it is apparently restricted in error, there is no URL available to enter in that required field.
Thanks for reviewing.

@Áine.ní.Donnghaile is that for a record in Jamaica? We've received your request and will look into it. If it's not Jamaica, let me know the topic so I can search further.

Yes, it's that one. The only way I was able to submit was by repeating the URL for the collection in the box requiring a URL for the image. It just seems a little silly to require a URL for something that doesn't have one and is the reason for the report.

Thank you for sharing that feedback. I can understand why that would feel a bit awkward. When the issue does not allow for an image URL in the required field, please enter the collection URL in that field in order to complete the form. We are investigating this issue now and hope to quickly identify the root cause of the issue. Stick with us we are all in this together.

I'm sorry to see that the point of my comment has been misunderstood an dmoved.
I specifically posted on the discussion about the new Records Issue form because of the problem with the form.
I was not posting about the Jamaica DGS. Moving my comment to its own thread is counterproductive.

@Áine.ní.Donnghaile UPDATE: Thank you for reporting the issue with Jamaica Civil Registration, 1878-1930. It has been documented and added to the queue for a future update. While we don’t yet have a timeframe for completion, we wanted you to know it has been recorded for follow-up.

Thanks for the update @shecorwe
Unfortunately, my earlier reports still have not received any action/reply.0
