Help finding military record Cosenza, Calabria, Italy
I am searching for an elistment record in the "Documenti militari di Cosenza" for my great grandfather Eugenio Mauro born in the town of Cellara, Cosenza, Calabria on 19 Oct 1881. https://www.familysearch.org/en/search/catalog/koha:484010
I have found a transcription on the "Archivio di Statto di Cosenza" site referencing a register #, page # and section # (see below). I have his birth record from Antenati already.
But I cannot locate the actual handwritten record. Can anyone tell be if the Register # and page # can be useful in locating this entlistment record?

I spent quite some time reviewing DGS 8213849 while at my FamilySearch Center this afternoon.I regret to report that I was unable to find a record for Eugenio Mauro. In fact, I found nothing for Cellara. The record set is divided by district and then by municipality. I found sections for numerous municipalities within the district of Cosenza, but nothing for Cellara.
The records appear to be organized by where the young men were living at the time, not by their place of birth. For example, the first record listed in the municipality of Dipignano, in the district of Cosenza, is for a young man born in Domanico.
If you know where Eugenio Mauro lived when he came of age, his record might be there.
There are no page numbers, printed or handwritten, throughout the DGS.
The DGS is not indexed, so it cannot be searched by name, and full-text search is not yet enabled.
I'm sorry not to have better news.2
