Are there Camarines Sur death certificates post-1996?
Good day. For the past few months, I had been skimming and researching the 1945-1996 Catalog of death certificates from the province of Camarines Sur. Why does it cut off by 1996 and, is there a chance that there are other catalogs or indexes that are dated starting from 1997 to even the 2000s (and potentially early 2010s)? The reason that I am needing this is to simply know my relatives' death dates and to attach sources. Thanks.

According to the film title boards, the records for Camarines Sur were filmed in 1999. That would explain why more recent records are not in the collection. Also, more recent records will likely be digitally inaccessible for reasons of personal data privacy.

Are there any chance that they could be accessible in the far future?

@Evan Peter90 I can't answer that. I have no insight into FamilySearch's plan to photograph additional records or what their contracts may include.
