Pedigree Resource File
In doing searches I notice that FamilySearch is now going out and it is looking in the Pedigree Resource File.

@George Ezell Legge Thanks for your comments - so timely and helpful to me! I am new to Pedigree Resource File so I found this article https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Pedigree_Resource_File that will help anyone else who might be a newbie like me ☺️

Yes, the FIND command for FamilyTree is now searching all complied trees on the site. This is a new option on its search parameter page:
Users do need to keep in mind that these are not sources. These are people's interpretation of sources, family histories, and family myths. The quality can vary from highly accurate to totally useless.
Also they need to avoid pulling errors in Pedigree Resource and other trees which have been corrected in Family Tree back into Family Tree.

@Gordon Collett Excellent points. I wouldn't personally suggest that searching any of the Genealogies should ever be the default, it needs to be a positive decision by the user to search data that may be of very low quality.
