Restricted Access Probate
Hi everyone, I am looking for a restricted South African record lookup. Can someone at an Affiliate Library please grab the image of the 1979 Transvaal Deceased Estate File for Andries Jacobus du Plooy? His FamilySearch ID is GPSL-FN1. He is my Paternal Great-Grandfather and we have no information about his ancestry. Thank you!

Unfortunately, Transvaal Estate Files for 1979 are not available at an Affiliate Library or FamilySearch Center.
Even if they were available, we are not permitted to provide copies due to restrictions on Limited Access records.

Try searching thru the Historical Records using First & Last Name, birthdate and birthplace then go to his person page to see what Research Assist may be able to help Best wishes with your research

@Áine.ní.Donnghaile Thanks I just thought there might be other Records for the PID in those sometimes millions of results we see when we click on Records in the Search drop-down, so I'm sorry for my by-the-way comment to encourage thru the community 😴
