Catalog Metadata Error: Uruguay Parish Transcriptions Missing Tomos 25-40

Hello,

I am reporting a critical database image-mapping error in the following catalog record set: "Transcripción de registros parroquiales, ca. 1791–1880" (Uruguay, Montevideo)

The Issue: The FamilySearch Catalog text explicitly lists several digital microfilms as containing the higher-numbered historical volumes for this collection. Specifically:

  • Film 2222402 is listed as containing Tomos 25–30
  • Film 2222403 is listed as containing Tomos 31–35
  • Film 2222404 is listed as containing Tomos 36–40

However, when a user clicks the camera icons to open the digital images for these films, the actual documents displayed on the screen do not match the text description. Instead, all three films repeat the low-numbered volumes over and over again:

  • Opening Film 2222402 actually displays Tomo 1 and Tomo 2
  • Opening Film 2222403 actually displays Tomo 3 and Tomo 4
  • Opening Film 2222404 actually displays Tomo 5 and Tomo 6

Because the incorrect digital images have been bound to these film profiles, the entire block of Tomos 25 through 40(and specifically Tomo 33, which I need to access) is physically missing and completely hidden from the digital viewer.

Front-line support has verified this display error on Ticket 2823840 and directed me to this forum so a catalog moderator or digital vault engineer can look at the physical metadata sheets, track down the missing digital files for Tomos 25–40, and fix the digital image links.

Thank you for your help in correcting this collection mapping!

    @DavidRule

    Good morning David
    Each film or DGS is divided into multiple parts, referred to as Items.

    Film 2222402 or DGS 8166434 contains 17 parts. It begins with the last few pages of Book/Tomo 25 and then continues with Books 26 through 40.

    Tomo or Libro 33 is Item 10, beginning on Image 1701 of 3257. You can see the cover, with LIBRO 33 on Image 1702.
