    The indexer read it as "Bearely." I can't do better.

    I am leaning towards Beasely - see the 'se' combination in 'housewife'

    EDIT NOTE:

    After some further research online and, after looking at a few of the SSA Application files, it would seem her maiden name appears in several forms with different perceived spellings.

    The most common occurrence appears to be Bracely, but other various interpretations appear, such as: Bracelet, Bearley, etc…

    Taking a second look at the image, zoomed in, I definitely can see Bracely as a clear possibility.
