How do I find the closest common ancestor with my spouse?
When I try to find my closest common ancestor with my wife, it simply says she is my closest relation, same when I try relationship to any of her deceased ancestors.
Is there a way around this?

Here is a one work around:
Sign in using your FamilySearch account at Relative Finder.
Link is also available in the Solutions Gallery
Click on "Connect".
If "See your relationship with a deceased person" doesn't work, then
choose "See the relationship between two deceased people" (see below image).
Type in the profile ID numbers for your closest deceased relative and for your wife's.
Then do the math to figure out the quantity of cousin "removed".
It will also display the name of the common ancestor, click on it to get the FS profile ID number.

Another way to find your relationship to your spouse is to use the Family Tree mobile app. When you view that relationship in the app, it doesn't simply show that you are a close relative, but actually finds the common ancestor and shows that cousin relationship (if it exists in Family Tree).
