I have hit a brickwall with an ancestor of mine

Greetings, I was wondering if I might have assistance finding the parents of an ancestor I'm researching. The major difficulty stems from a large presence of extended family members in the region, with even many family trees on Ancestry.com ignoring the warnings of other to not cite the commonly disproven ancestors of the individual in question. The ancestor is: Charles Cummins (b. 23 Apr. 1780, Lee, VA - d. 13 Mar. 1852, Henry, IN). I'll paste all of the sources that I collected so far down below, along with a warning of mixup with another Cummins family branch that another member on WikiTree posted.

I attempted to go in the archives online of probates, court records, deeds, and estate taxes for Monroe County, VA, (1780-1820) which is where I know he resided because of the marriage record and a census that matched perfectly with the age brackets and household size in 1810 (there's another Charles in the 1810 census that doesn't match). The only thing I found was a grantee/grantor document with Joshua Mitchell, his father-in-law through marriage, on it giving 150 acres of "Hans Creek" land to a Charles Cummins, which I can assume must have been him. In that same document, it appears Charles later gave a parcel of that land to another Cummins, but I believe it was one of other branches of Cummins, which I assume can infer a relationship with the other Cummins of the area through a distant biological relationship.

I thought I had a breakthrough when I saw that other Cummins' also moved to Henry Co, IN, from Monroe Co, but they were of the same descendancy of the aforementioned branch IIRC, where Charles wasn't a direct descendant. This led me to believe that even if they don't have the same parents, they have to certainly be related among a larger cluster of Cummins, unless it was by coincidence (such as a new wagon trail or local advertisement that drew Monroe families to that location). An old Ancestry profile comment mentioned that Charles had a brother named James F. Cummins, who like him, was a minister in the Southern Indiana region, but it wasn't sourced, and I couldn't find anything helpful about this James. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
