Is it appropriate to upload Baptismal and Confirmation records of the church
I have a Baptism and Confirmation certificate from 1969 so not real old but this couple had no children. both are deceased and there is no one to inherit these records but it doesn't seem right to throw away. If I upload it to Memories it would still be out there but I would no longer have to be custodian of it. I know that Patriarchal Blessings are not to be shared on Memories.

@KathyMiller1 I agree - you should absolutely review the guidelines and policies when you upload documents to FamilySearch. Personally, I feel that a baptismal certificate for a deceased person is a valuable primary source. In this instance, I understand your desire to save this document on FamilySearch so that you will not have to retain the original. Thanks for helping to preserve records on FamilySearch!

Please always keep local copies of digital materials you upload to FS.
FS' upload policy checking (see @Áine.ní.Donnghaile's post above) sometimes deletes Memories (rightly or wrongly), and anyway it is a good policy never to rely on any website to maintain access to anything for ever.
