Just wondering if anyone has any updates on the BG site?
Approx the last couple of days in Feb (25-27th) I was unable to 'logout' no matter how I tried. Shut down the computer that night and tried again next day, same result. Note that I cleared cookies etc but nothing changed. Then first few days in March the 'log in' page wouldn't load…and still the same now (23rd April).
Numerous times I've checked (in no particular order) ..

NB…results give these locations as 'green' while others remain 'red'
US West (N. California),
Oceania (Auckland)
Europe (Paris)
Asia Pacific (Seoul)

Finally, I tried the Wayback machine without success, maybe I was too impatient and didn't wait/search deep enough.
Along the way I attempted to check where the main server is located, but as expected, the location is not available for privacy and security reasons, but the site is apparently based in Ogden Gate, Utah.
One thought was the server was located in one of the current war zones and had taken a hit…but that was just clutching at straws (please don't turn this into a political thing as this comment was not intended to relate to that in 'any' way, but due to the current situation it could be a possible consideration, when all else fails).
The 'FAQ and Support' pages appear to be on a different server as both load, although sent emails never receive a reply. On 14th April I tried to reply to a Blog email received that day, but it neither bounced or received a reply.
Would be interested if anyone has further info and while I don't have a FB account, I am able to read messages and nothing has been mentioned there either. Roots Tech was the week after the site crash and I thought maybe once they returned it might be fixed, but once again…nothing!!
Will check back in a day or three. If anyone wants to double check the above links, it would be interesting to see the results, for comparison.
Bye for now

This Community doesn't usually engage with 3rd party product issues, only with FamilySearch ones, but I have been having a look at this just in case anything helpful popped up.
I am in England, using Windows 11 and up-to-date Chrome, and can log in and out of BG successfully, both via my FamilySearch login and direct.
Could you clarify exactly what your specific problem is - is it just that you can't sign out, with the rest of BG working (as well as it ever does)? It does sound from your post as if you are also trying and failing to access specific BG information, but I can't work out what. I can see my 3 greats grandmother's grave OK.
It would be useful to know what country you are in, if you are prepared to share this info, and definitely what operating system and browser, whether they are up to date, and whether you have any popup blockers, browser extensions, etc. active (in which case, does it work if you switch it/them off?) Does it work better on a different computer? A different browser? Without any VPN you have been using? Your 'phone?
Re the links you provided, I see that you used the dead link checker, what happens when you try them yourself from your browser?
I get the following results from my browser:

fine

fine
404, but works if you take the umlaut off Sud or navigate to this area from Italy within the BG site, so this is probably just the deadlink checker picking up a duff link somewhere

404, and doesn't work when I navigate to this area from Germany within the BG site, either

@BM47 I am sorry you are having issues with BG website. I signed in and out with no issues today.
If you could answer @MandyShaw1 's questions it would help pinpoint the issue further.

Sounds like it’s not just you — those symptoms (can’t log out, login page not loading, mixed uptime results, 403/404 errors) usually point to a server-side issue or partial outage on BillionGraves, not a problem on your device.
Most likely causes:
- Backend/server instability or maintenance
- Regional blocking/CDN issues (some locations work, others fail)
- Broken routes/pages after an update
Since even tools show mixed “green/red” and support isn’t replying, it’s probably an ongoing platform issue.
👉 Best you can do:
- Try again using a VPN (US location)
- Test in different browser/device (just to confirm)
- Wait for an official fix/update
Right now, it doesn’t look like a user-side problem 👍

Thanks for your replies! I meant to say in my original message re asking here about a BG problem, it's not something I normally do but I've tried for 2 months to find a solution and not being able to log into BG, I couldn't ask there. I have sent a half dozen emails to BG support, but no replies. I checked FB as much as possible, but not having an account couldn't ask there.
Anyway, just a few minutes ago I was able to 'log in' and 'log out'… rinse and repeat in case it was a one-off, I've also just transcribed a page without a problem. It's got me baffled because I have been trying everything. Zero changes to my computer, phone, tablet and laptop, even tried other browsers and zero problems with any other site etc. No changes in internet provider…the problem existed with BG only!!
Looks like this will remain a mystery, because in Feb I had logged in/out without a problem every day for a week or more, until the second last day when I was unable to log out, next day I could log in, but not log out again. Day after that zilch and it's been that way until approx 30 mins ago!
