@johnny4573 It would help to know what specific collections you have been working in—Ellis Island, perhaps? The edit function is not the same for each group of records.

Exactly what "additional info" are you seeking to add?
I got a bit lost - paragraph breaks want to be your friend.For the immigrant's final destination, I use the "Move To" event field.
For who they are meeting, I add that person to the record even if they are listed on the 2nd page.
I agree it is very time consuming to complete all the indexing for immigration records.1
