Printing the "View Relationship" chart?
Hi all,
Is there a way to print the results from the "View Relationship" pop up? In other words, when on an ancestor's profile page…say, 20 generations back, and clicking the "View Relationship" link just under their name at the top gives a nice detail linear chart from the ancestor down to myself with the option to display spouses. This chart not only gives their names and dates, but also their respective FamilySearch ID's. Is there a way to print that view (of the linear generational chart)?
I've tried using the most current versions of MS Edge, Chrome and FireFox but when I go to print to PDF or even just print, all the generations are not captured, only what's currently viewable at best or at worst, just empty space.
Thanks,

That thread you posted gives a "Permission Problems" page and can't be viewed apparently by us regular users.
I have never been able to find a way to open that relationship viewer page. When I try, all I get is the underlying profile page. It appears the only way to capture the information is to take a series of screen shots.

Permission ProblemYou don't have permission to do that.

You can print a print a partial screenshot (Shift+Command+4 on a Mac), but depending on the number of generations and your printer sharpness and paper size, it may not print clearly. I just tried a 12-generation Relationship screenshot on an 8x11 sheet. I can read the names but can't make out the dates nor IDs.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that this "view" of very long lineages cannot be printed, exported or downloaded cleanly (i.e. into a single image or document) right from the page itself. Other tree sites have this capability.
