    @Cesar985

    Can you post the relevant URL please so that the Community can investigate. Frequently these issues are caused by contractual changes between FS and the record custodians, or by new legislation, such as recently in Peru.

    also, when I do a search for my self I used to get the results… now only shows burials, deaths not births…. most of these records are public domain..

    This is not just an image restriction like so many that we see, it's clearly a record restriction.

    Just because information is public domain doesn't mean FS has a contract in place with the record custodian that will allow its metadata to be shown unrestricted to us (which would be necessary both a) for us to be able to view the record and b) for it to come up in record searches).

    @Cesar985 What collection is this from (I can't tell from what I can see)? As you mention this is public domain information, do you not have access to it via another website?

    @SerraNola can you cast any light on this one please?

    I am getting this on WWII records, this shouldn't be. It is showing up in suggested records but then I can not open or link. Example: https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/details/LWYV-H78

    @Melissa Ann McLaughlin This record is from the Michigan, World War II Draft Registration Cards, 1940-1947 collection. It seems to the same as another issue that was raised a couple of days ago. There is a response from a moderator in that discussion.
