New Bug FS Memories

Within the last few weeks a new bug has appeared in FS Memories

Summary:
If you are viewing an album - and then you use the filter option to select on a key word
and then you click on the item showing after the filter was applied
you consistently get this error:

"Oops, something went wrong. - Please refresh the page."

example:
here is an album:
https://www.familysearch.org/en/memories/gallery/album/510196

1) Notice the first item in the album
2) In the "Find Memories" filter option - type in the word "Gathering"
3) One item will satisfy the search filter - click on it.
4) you get the error - "Oops, something went wrong. - Please refresh the page."

One important note - this error only seems to be generated when exactly ONE item results from the search filter. If multiple items result from the search filter - the clicking of those items works as expected. (example search on "Bible" and 2 items result - and it works as expected)

    @Dennis J Yancey
    As I play around with this BUG, I am seeing this error in a few more places. Sometimes it happens when searching in my Gallery. Sometimes a refresh works, sometimes not. Also, if I have only one item in a Gallery, and I select it (without even running the search box), I get the same error.

    This is being reported to the Memories Team.

    Thanks for the find!

    I am getting the same error. It seemed to have only started today. I click on the memory I want to look at and get the same

     "Oops, something went wrong. - Please refresh the page."

    Refreshing the page doesn't help. I can still use the photo as a profile picture, but can't bring up the full photo.

    I found the same problem with Silas Hovey, K4J2-KKF. Only one memory is posted. I'll try to find something else to place there.

    Added a second memory and found that it took care of the problem.

    I am having the same problem as well. It started a week or so ago. For me it is only happening in memories when I click on a photo/document. I've tried different browsers: Firefox, Chrome and Edge. I even tried using another computer. I've tried clearing browsing history, cache, etc.

    Just wanted to assure everyone…. Yes, the Memories team is aware that this "Oops" error has expanded. They are working on a fix.

    Thank you for your patience!

    @Dennis J Yancey @Bob Baldwin @GrantHovey @wendykaystebar1

    I wanted to report that this issues (when clicking on a Memory and getting the "Oops" error), has been recitified.

    I've been playing with it to make sure there aren't any further problems, and I don't get the "Oops" error anymore—but I'm hoping you can also test it and make sure its is working properly. Thanks!
