Why don't I see the option to import photos?

@Kathy83114 if you go to Memories, then Gallery, then hit the blue plus sign and take the Upload option, you can upload up to 10 photos or other Memories files in one go.
If that doesn't help, please do post again.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear…. I want to import directly from Google Photos (instead of having to download to a file, then upload from my computer).
I saw at least one post that suggests that after I click the plus sign under Memories, I should see buttons for Google Photos, Facebook, and Instagram underneath the option to select files from my computer…. but those buttons do not appear from me. My only option is to upload from my computer.
I have my Google account connected under Identity Providers, and I don't see any options to give Google Photos access under Permissions.

@Kathy83114 Can you post the URL of the thread you found? Perhaps it dates from before the recent complete rewrite of the Memories function, it's possible this element hasn't yet reappeared. @AmberML1 can you help at all please?
