using full text search how to attach additional persons to after 1st person is attached
see Spencer Midyett M3BL-JPC, 1857 Panola co Texas, Final Estate Records,
I added him & his wife as I was finishing editing transcription of page 266, but when I tried to add his step son & administrator Franklin Alexander I realized all I could do is add him by copying to the source box. Any other way?
Also, what should I do when the record carries over to the next page? Just go back to include the next page? change page 266 to pages 266-267? images 504 to images 504-505?
I have more questions on the best search techniques if you are up for them.

@Pat Lowe It is not often I use 'Attach to Tree' because of this very thing. Unless the record only has the 'principle' and maybe only one other person that is already in the tree, I use Save to Source Box. From there I can easily attach to multiple individuals and if I subsequently find/add new individuals to the tree that are also referenced in the record, the Source is set up and ready to go.
Where you are now, you'll need to go to back to the record [either the FTS version or 'standard' version] and using the PID of the step son, use the 'Attach to person…' option. Now that I look at it…. I see that this is what you've done.
And as I mentioned if you later find another individual in the record, you'll end up repeating this process
One downside here is that the 'View' function doesn't pick up everyone that has the record attached. That is another thing I like about the Source Box method in that 'View' shows everyone.
Multi-Part Documents…
I like to always find the beginning of any multi-part record and use that url as the one saved. Indicate this in the Title of the Source — e.g. Panola County, Texas; Final Record Estates, Vol D, 1858 - 1862; Page 266 - 271 [Estate of Spencer Medyatt, Deceased]
I follow that by adding the 'key bits' from the record in the Notes field
FYI there is a Full Text Search Feedback Group I see FamilySearch took down the link that used to be on the Full Text Search start page, but this should get you there. I'll be happy to discuss any search techniques if you want to PM me….
