New Home Page feedback
The new home page says to "click on the feedback button to give feedback". Where is the feedback button? The general feedback button only allows you to give a "number" indicating the level of satisfaction. No written feedback.
My observation is that folks of my generation, 60 and older, that are common users of FamilySearch are overwhelmed with the number of changes. We recognize that much more information and ways to access information are becoming available and that will require changes. BUT, in the past it feels like there is more "engineering" and not enough "QA" and that finding ways to introduce new features without disturbing the basic user interface is worth more effort. I appreciate the complexity of the task and the variety of audience FamilySearch has to work with. Plus, the variety of platforms that folks work on.
But, for those of us that are in the "older" category maybe having the older version available for longer in parallel with new releases and trying to minimize the "user interface" changes with the introduction of new material are both worth considering. Thanks for listening.
WRT the new home page. It does seem like a minimal change. Looks like it gives hints and helps from AI first listing and then the family contributions summarized after. For those that use the home page as the vehicle to get "to work" on our personal area of focus it would not impact negatively. For those new to FS the hints and helps are probably better with this new version. I would say it is a go. Probably incorporates some of my earlier suggestions in the two earlier paragraphs. Thanks again.
(PS just the notice there is a "new home page" freaked out some of my contacts. How do you help that???)

Where indeed is the feedback button. The update of today is not friendly. Pages I search before are no longer available. The years are not sequence. Its a mess. Im not happy. Please update to a friendly use.

The feed back button near the middle on the left side.
When I click on the feed back button I get this
Once you click on the smiley faces you can then leave your feedback in written form.

I like the new page, but after I click "Nauvoo Relatives", when I go back, there no longer is a link to Nauvoo Relatives. How can I see that page?

When I click on the feedback button I get this:
I guess the the Community is suppose to take care of this?
Or do they really want feedback?

@Vince Fuller The feedback button does create a pop-up. So if you have all pop-ups blocked you won't be able to use the feedback button. Yes, you can send feedback here on community. There is a group dedicated to feedback on the new home page.

Re: the test home page. Whilst I like the simplicity of it, having been on for an hour or so, I am here, in the Community, not that I mind, you understand, because the Feedback icon-link on the left side of the pane consistently gives me a popup error, even though I have allowed popups from all FS sites I visit.
So far, so good, with that one exception. I will also share with the dedicated group.

I don't like the new home page one bit. I don't need to see Recently Viewed or Recent Memories. There is no Feedback link. I prefer the home page to remain as it has been for years. Two thumbs down on the new home page (not that those creating it are going to listen).

Have you tried the New Home Page: Share your Feedback to discuss the issues you do not like with the new home page. The people who will listen to your suggestions are watching those pages. I suggest you not only have your list of complaints, but if possible have a list of how you would fix it and what you want to see. There is a feed back link on the new homepage. The feed back link is located in the middle of the New Home page on the left side.

@RobertHanczyk I'm confused. You don't like the new home page and you don't need to see recent memories but the most noticeable difference with the new home page is that recent memories go from taking up well over half of the home page and scroll on forever while the new home page shows just the most recent two and a half as much smaller thumbnails. Also, on both the old new new homepage you can just close the Recently Viewed panel if you don't want to see them:
Old:
New:
or
Other than the changes in showing much less of the memories you don't want to see, what don't you like about the page. It really hasn't changed all that much.

I like the new home page. I really like that I can see on it what I had been working on last.
