Where in "Memories" is the "Custom" ability to sort?

My brother and I have used "memories" quite a lot. A number of "Albums" we created just a few months ago we arranged photos using the "Custom" option that allowed us to drag and drop photos in a desired order. I do not find that option now. Where is it now? Thank you, Rex James

This has been reported by others multiple times. See, for example, here. The response to that post also mentions the Memory Feedback group, which you might be interested in.

The reference given does not mention the "Custom" feature that I believe was previously in FamilySearch. Nor did I see it mentioned in the "Memory Feedback group". Was "Custom" the same as OR part of the "Slide Show" feature. It is strange that FamilySearch Engineering would delete an important feature that folks are actively using without at least a heads-up or a period to salvage work that had been done.

My specific question is: Am I dreaming or was there previously a feature known as "Custom" that would let you drag-and-drop photos in a custom order? Is it available now under a new mode of access?

You aren't dreaming. The Memories Gallery along with several Memories Tools have recently been updated—this includes the Memories Albums.

In the old version, there was a feature called "Re-order." Not "Custom"—but both mean the same. Yes, you previously had the ability to re-order the images in your album.

Unfortunately, with the updates, the "Re-order" feature has been put on pause. The engineers assure me your custom order has not gone away, but it will take a bit more time before they turn this feature back on.

I hope this clarifies this issue. Thanks for your patience!

Thanks, I wondered if I was dreaming about something. So "Re-order" was the command name and it will be reactivated. Thanks for checking. I hope it gets activated soon so we don't loose all the work we did. Thanks
