Editing tool

Is there somewhere I can get training on using the editing tool? I haven't found much help in the help center. I have questions like:

How to add a person correctly, who has been skipped? The tool freezes up when I try.

Is there a way to organize the people in the list? for example. They are not divided into households. You can change the heading for the head of the family, buy that doesn't put them in a new group. If you create a new group, them it goes to the top of the page and you have to move all of the members of that family to that group, which then remains out of order with the page as a whole.

I'm pretty sure the reason there aren't any instructions is that the tool isn't fully functional yet.

I haven't tested it in a while, but I haven't heard or seen any reports of the permissions-eating gremlin being exterminated yet, so I would be leery of doing any editing that affects the structure of the index, such as adding or deleting fields or entries, or editing relationships. Even without the gremlin, though, the "add entry" function didn't function, as of last November (https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/153642/add-doesnt-work-in-the-new-index-editor#latest).
