In the US Marriage documents they list marriage year as 1855-77 how do you index this?

In the US marriage documents they list the marriage year as 1855-77 the form will not

allow this. How should this be indexed?

    You index the latter date, 1877. From General Indexing Guidelines/Indexing Dates in the Project Instructions:

    If multiple dates were given for other events, type the most recent or latest date.
