Mistake in indexing a set of records.
Apologies if this is not the right place to report this.
This volume is entirely (371 pages) about marriage records ("Matrimonios"), but they where misclassified as burials. As a result, a large set of people have been given a wrong date of death. Please take a look, thank you!

The error is more likely to have been caused in pre- or post-processing, not in indexing.
You can request a correction to the catalog by sending a detailed email to books@familysearch.org

The film is correctly identified as marriages in the catalog (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/2117576), and the fields in the index are typical of marriages, not burials -- when was the last time you encountered a burial record that identified the spouse's parents? -- so this appears to be some sort of metadata error. I have no idea who to contact about those.

I'd still try the Books@FamilySearch.org email - I've found that address useful for labeling issues in images among other errors. In fact, one of the replies I received indicated the issue I had reported was a metadata issue.

The email books@familysearch.org seems to belong to an office dealing with book donations.
Do you know of any other email that I can write to?
