How exciting! And how comforting for those who have lost loved ones to be able to take them to the temple much earlier than before! 🙏🏻

Wow! I was SO surprised when I looked at my brother's info on FS. He passed away March 2022 and it said I could request his ordinances to be done! I had to search for the update because I didn't know it had been changed. Awesome!

Many years ago my mom asked me if I would seal her to dad so we three children could be sealed to her. My response the first time {and several after that} was not too receptive!

Why in the world would you want to be sealed to someone who divorced you!! As the years went by, I softened and "grew up" and realized {as she already knew}... it was the only way for all of us to be sealed to HER!!

Dad passed 23 Jan 2022... we would need to wait a year.

Then on 20 April, 2022 the Church changed the time wait from 1 year to 30 days!!!

23 July, 2022 was THAT day! Mommy has her babies!!

Thank you to the sweet workers at the Draper Temple who made this day especially sweet & rewarding... they even greeted us at the desk with Super Reverent Excitement.
