I may be missing something, but when you sign out of FamilySearch, there is a Sign Out feature located in the drop down menu under your name on the upper right side of the page. Signing out with the X is a browser function as you close the tab opened for FamilySearch. If I am missing something, please clarify. Thank you.

you are totally right -
"sign out" is the way to go
but why would FS be playing with the X tab feature of the browser in the first place as the user reports.
is this happening on MAC or Windows?
