the record I'm working on shows several grantors with the same last name listed on separate lines for a single grantee. Do I list the grantors' given names on separate lines as found on the record or combine them onto one line on my indexing form?
Can you share the batch? Go to Help>Share batch, past link or batch id.
Normally, if the project instructions want you to index every unique name on the document, you would index each grantor on their on entry form. So if you have 6 grantors with the same last name, each one would get its own entry form so there would be 6 forms and then you would add another entry form to index the grantee on.
However, without the batch to check project instructions and field guide instructions, I can’t say for sure if this is what you need to do.
Make sure to check both of these instructions.
@Ksalers answer evidently did the trick - I just noticed as I was ready to post my comment. But they give you or someone else some additional, useful information.
Maybe this conversation (link below) you started also answers your current question. The answer there was to make separate entries for each Grantor-Grantee pair, repeating/copying the Grantee name and the transaction details each time.
The easiest way to do this is to (1) fill in the entry for the first Grantor with that Grantee and all the transaction details. (2) Go to the very next blank entry and use the tool circled below to copy/ditto that complete entry. (3) Change the Grantor name in that new entry to be that of the second Grantor for that same Grantee. Repeat for as many Grantees you have for that single Grantee.

Thanks for all your help!
You're welcome. But it looks like the Image Moderator didn't like that previous conversation. Strange.
