How can I find more beginner batches?
I am still starting out indexing and I am working on the beginning batches. The intermediate seem to hard and I can't read the calligraphy! Most of the time, there aren't very many beginner batches so instead I don't do any at all. Is there any way for me to be able to find more? Thanks!

How do I search indexing projects by language and difficulty?

Unfortunately, Lyla Rachel, there are very few beginner batches that show up - ever. It is rare to find typewritten documents, except the Muster Rolls. They may have another set ready to go since this last one just wrapped up. Watch for that! But, even the intermediate projects right now are mostly handwritten. For those who don't read cursive (calligraphy), the beginner pickings are slim in any language and most are complete, except for Italy.
There is no dishonor in grabbing a batch, having a look at it, and returning the batch if it is too difficult. I just looked at 4 batches and returned them to see if I thought they might be good recommendations for you. Browse around - maybe something will meet your skills!

Also, if you are new to web-indexing, you might enjoy watching some of the videos you can find on youtube when you search for FamilySearch Indexing. This is my favorite: Indexing Discussion (Jason Pierson Live)

Muster Rolls are intermediate, but they are typed and easy to do. This project launched today:
United States—Enlisted and Officer Muster Rolls and Rosters, 1916–1939 [Part R]
