Twins with the same name. Index this?
Sierra Leone Batch [M36D-N52] The original indexer did not index Numbers 68 and 69. They must be twins with the same name. Different time of births. Still not sure what to do since the first time of Birth has been modified.

Getting image access error when attempting to open that batch. It shows 5 record entries - but since the image is not available - I am unsure of which contain numbers 68 & 69 (the dates are different).

Try again. It has been doing that all day. I am now reviewing again.

The twins both have the grandfather as informant who made his mark on each separately.
My opinion: go ahead Add Entry (Entry 4 - a duplicate entry of 3 - will make a total of 6 entries for the batch) - with the same information (because apparently the twins have the same name).
The Project Instructions state:
- Index information about twins or other multiple births as separate entries, even if they were recorded on a single document.
If it does not allow Add Entry - I guess you have no other option but to enable Help (menu)> Labs: Reindex with reasons,
go back to the review page and refresh the screen
then under Batch (menu)> Reindex with Reasons. This should return the batch - don't keep the information so the next indexer can have 6 Entries hopefully.
...
Someone else will probably inform you to only have one index entry ...

That is what I have been doing. Thank you for your help. Just wanted to make certain. At least 2 times I have seen the same names and indexing them anyway.

The system will more than likely delete the second entry on submission since they are consecutive and identical. But you can certainly try it.
The + icon does not work on a shared batch, but, it will work for the person who is reviewing or indexing the batch.

The important thing is that the record will show both twins even with one hint. The researcher may be in for an exciting discovery.

But if there is only one index entry for the same name - it might confuse the researcher that there is only one entry when there at least appears to be twins. I hope the system allows two entries to indicate that there appear to be twins.

The Project instructions don't make sense then. I have seen other times when they have the same gender and name. Someone notify whoever makes the rules. Other countries like this one obviously gives twins the same name.
