Best regards to all and hello from cold, cold Quebec, Canada !

I have been reviewing this project and I am very often, - too often -, returning a very large number of batches that should be indexed but have been identified as "no extractable data".

Is there a way to contact the indexers to inform them that these type of batches must also be indexed ?

Thank you for your reply.

Susan

There is no way for reviewers to make direct contact with indexers.

You can fill our a Reasons to Reindex Batch report form. With the batch open you want to return, click on the Help Tab. Click on Labs. You'll see the activation box and the instructions. Once you activate, I suggest clicking on the Indexing tab again, open the batch from your queue. Now when you hit Reindex Batch, that form should pop up every time. Sometimes it deactivates itself and you have to activate again.

It looks like one of those projects where folks might not be reading the project instructions that tell them not to mark them No Extractable Data if they can't understand the language. They might also be having a problem with the records that span two images. Because it looks like just about everything in this project gets indexed!

You've got us beat tonight on the chill factor! I am in Ohio at -5, and I see you are at -11. Stay warm! Spring is on the way.

It might be worth noting that all batches marked as No, No Extractable Data are reviewed so mistakes like these are fixable even if not caught by the reviewer.
