I have a film number and name for family member, but when i search there is no Info about them?
I have a film number for Ireland, Select Births and Baptisms, 1620-1911. I have found the family member but there is no information about them other than their spouse and child. Why is this and can I see the original film?

Thank you for your post.
Clicking on the link you provided brings you to Ancestry.com. It explains that this collection is an index of records from different areas in Ireland. Typically an Index only provides specific information from the original record, such as the parents and the child.
Did you locate this film in FamilySearch? And if so, could you provide the Film number? With a film number we can check to see if the original records are available.

A film number is not a reference to an individual record. It's an entire film, with hundreds or even thousands of images, and generally dozens of individual records on each of those images.
According to FamilySearch's Catalog, film 101096 (digital folder number 7718680) contains "Quarterly returns of births in Ireland, 1864-1955", Births v[olume] 17 1864. It has index entries associated with it, but is not available online via FamilySearch.
