Why does the Submit button not work when I try to change a record from deceased to living?
The record at G9PY-BBB is tagged deceased and needs to be tagged living.
I was on a zoom call with her this week.
When I try to change the record I get a warning message that the change will need to be reviewed but when I click the Submit button the web page refreshes as if the Submit button did not work. How do I change this record?

These are the steps on how to submit a request to change the status from deceased to living
How do I change the status from deceased to living in Family Tree?

I followed those steps and it did not work. The Submit button did not function after I updated the record from deceased to living. The record continues to be in error.

Your reference for the deceased to living: Question: there is a Find a Grave page for Anita Cowan Liffitt Clay, born 23 April 1922, death unknown, burial Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah, Chatham, Georgia.
Is this your relative who is still living and was married to Thomas carolin Clay, born 25 August 1917 in Georgia and died 8 November 1986, at Savannah , Chatham, Georgia.
Do we have the same person? There appears to be no death date on the headstone.
We have tested her page by changing her death date to living by clicking on the Edit button. Then changing the Deceased to Living, scroll down to the Reason This Information is Correct: and a statement was added "Still alive as of 3/9/2020". The blue SAVE button is available. You are stating that you do not get "Reason Not Changed" box that has a blue YES box? And then the Request to Mark Person as Living, "Warning: You are attempting to change the person's status from deceased to living. A reason for this request is required before this status change will be reviewed. Until that review occurs this person will be shown as deceased. If th status change is approved, you will be notified by e-mail." You will need to enter something in the "How do you know this person is alive?" box.
From what we understand you have not been able to get this far, is that correct?

Yes, the Findagrave record is for my Aunt who is very much alive. I assume the stone was placed at the passing of my Uncle Tom and the date will be updated when she passes. I appreciate learning of this because it probably explains why her record was tagged deceased.
Just as you describe I get to the Warning message and enter into the How do you know..... input field
I was in a zoom session with her earlier in the week.
Click submit. And the progress spinner graphic spins indefinitely...as in more than five minutes...

We would suggest that you clear your cookies in your Chrome and try again. Most likely we will need to send this problem to specialists who can work on it.

FYI
As an aside ...
'Food for thought' ...
As, I have NOT tried "Changing", the 'Status' of an individual/person, from "Deceased", to "Living", SINCE the INCLUSION of the 'FamilySearch' "Support", into this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; and, of course, the 'demise' of the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System.
I wonder ...
IF, that "Save" link/button, NO LONGER seems to work; as, the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System, is no more; so, that link/button seems NOW to go NOWHERE.
Definitely something, that 'FamilySearch' NEEDS to investigate.
Brett
ps: I raised this matter in another recent post, submitted by another Participant; and, suggested, that the other Participant should raise the matter as a NEW "Idea" (ie. 'Feedback'); but, unfortunately, as far as I can ascertain, such has NOT been the case.

@MartinG Clearing cookies did not change the symptoms of the bug. Neither did changing from desktop to laptop or from Chrome to Edge

Yes, it is a bug. Posting here will get the PID corrected.
It is not clear where bug reports belong, in Q&A or in Ideas. Last I was told, they belong in Q&A so I put them here. This bug has a report:

Brett's theory of origin of this bug is not correct. This bug is more recent.

FYI
I am not so certain that my thoughts are not correct.
The matters may STILL be getting to 'FamilySearch' "Support", to action the "Request".
But ...
That Said ...
The problem/issue is, that the "Action", is STILL working on OLD (Programming) "Code", that references the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System, which is NOW "Defunct"; hence, the "Bug".
IF, the matters are getting through to 'FamilySearch' "Support", to action the "Request"; THEN, the OLD (Programming) "Code", that references the 'FamilySearch' "Support" Case Management System, could certainly be the problem/issue.
I would not be too dismissive of that ...
You never know ...

Brett, my comment was based not on opinion but on observation, observation that disconfirms your hypothesis.
