What if in a Death record it says "Bernard Lane's child" do we index it as that or leave it blank?

The batch number is the sequence of letters and possibly numbers that follow the title at the top of your screen. Like [MY7D-ZTA]

    Hi Krystan

If you do not see name of the child, most likely it should be left in blank. Bernard Lane is not the name of the child, the register is pointing that he or she is somebody's child, but it does says it is the chid's name.

For more accurate response follow the instruction of the field help for given and surname of the child-

    Hope it helps.
