Removing children from a woman that never had any
An Edmund Warren wed an Edith Ireland in Bramshaw on the 6th of July 1657. Edith had travelled from East Wellow to Bramshaw on that day where the ceremony was solemnised. She and Edmund will have 2 children that survive to at least do some growth. Richard and Joane Warren. But as there are no baptismal records only their burial records, we can not know if they reached maturity and beyond it.Richard is buried in 1682 and his sister joane in November 1690. Edith the mother was baptised in the yr 1629/30. ie 1630 by today's calender. and is buried in Bramshaw on the 8th of May 1677. In East Wellow on the 20th of October 1657 a Richard 1624-1688 Ireland. The last surviving brother out of of 5 brothers of Edith 1630-167 Warren nee Ireland. Had one of his daughter's baptised as Christian Ireland. His mother was a Christian 1594 -1647 Ireland nee Silver. Now Joane ???? -1690 Warren was buried in Bramshaw in the November of 1690. And Edmund her father was to wed her cousin Christian 1657-1719 Ireland in the February of 1690/91ie 1691 by today's Calender. He Edmund will die in September 1704, and there are no records of any children of this marriage to Christian 1657-1719 Ireland. His niece by marriage to Edith Ireland his first wife. Now my problem is that somehow whilst filling in the details of the wedding in Bramshaw in February 1690/9. I managed to put the marriage date as the 6th of July 1657 the date that he wed his first wife Edith. And it created two Edmund Warrens and 2 Christian Ireland's. I merged the two Edmund Warrens. but in doing so it transferred the children that he Edmund had with his first wife Edith Ireland to this other wife Christian Ireland. Well the one with the designation LK3B-GQC, not the one with the designation M2HR-B4P. I would like to merge the 2 Christian Ireland's . But drop the children Richard and joane Warren from Christian Ireland 1657-1719 LK3B-GQC , because they were not her children but those of her Aunt Edith.. How can I do this without getting things wrong again? I surmise that Edith left the home of her elder brother and only surviving brother Richard 1624-1688 Ireland in East Wellow. When she travelled to Bramshaw on the 6/7/1657. On Christian 1657-1719 ireland's baptismal record in the October of 1657. it says of her father Richard Ireland is of Eling, Hampshire. But presumably was living in East Wellow in 1657.
