Shouldn't entries be made with using the birth name not married name?

I am referring to entering names in our family tree. I am entering them with the birth names. I see a distant cousin of mine entered his female family names with the married names. Should I ask him to correct those to be standard on how entries are made?

In "Family Tree" of 'FamilySearch' ...

The 'Family Name'/'Surname', in the "Vitals" Section, for Females, should be their "Birth" 'Family Name'/'Surname' (aka: "Maiden", in some cultures), unless "Legally" Changed, certainly NOT their (later) "Married" 'Family Name'/'Surname'.
