Ancestry Institution

I believe that you are talking about clicking on the Ancestry link under the Search Records menu.
When I click on this link, it does open Ancestry with the search fields populated, so I don't believe this is a current issue.
Please let us know if this is not what you are referring to.
Also Is this happening for all of your searches or just on a particular person?

I've had several occasions recently when the Ancestry search populated with the details of a different person from the one I was researching. I don't know if the issue is widespread. I usually find that a quick refresh of the page fixes the issue.

I am talking about "Ancestry Institution" that is found in Family History Center computers. Ancestry premium works but when going from a person page under the "Search" area that a nonmember, who does not have an Ancestry account, would use in the Family History Center.

I clearly understood that @TravisMorris

It acts as if the Family History Center is not logging into Ancestry. If I go to Ancestry from the Portal page it logs in but not from the person page. It acts the same from all computers in the FHC.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron
[ And, one who has working in "Family History Centres" of the Church, for a number of Years ... ]
As, our Local "Family History Centre" of the Church, has been recently "Closed", due to a City and statewide "Lockdown", due to a relatively recent outbreak of "COVID-19" ...
I have NOT, 'seen'; or, experienced, the NEW "FHC Portal" ...
But ...
That Said ...
Prior to the NEW "FHC Portal", that access to "Ancestry Institution" was ALWAYS problematic.
To get such to work ...
One NEEDED to have, that particular Computer of a FHC, 'Signed In" with the "Ancestry_com" access for a FHC.
That "Ancestry Institution" DID NOT work without such.
I know.
Plus ...
When one is at a FHC, not only can one 'see' that "Ancestry Institution" on a Computer of a FHC, one could ALSO 'see' that "Ancestry Institution" on either, a Computer (eg. Laptop); and/or, a "Mobile" Device (eg. Tablet; or, Mobile Pone) that one used at the FHC, through the "WiFi" access at a FHC.
Of course ...
Things may have "Changed", with the RECENT implementation of the NEW "FHC Portal".
I know that this may not help; but, I hope this gives you some perspective.
