How to correct incorrect mergings?

Mary Smith LHZN-LWM was attached to spouse Jubal Ancorn-Smith LBYZ-G7N and parents Wisdom Smith LWFH-H9X and Elizabeth Gentle KGC3-ZFJ with her family of 9 children. Mis-mergings and assorted temple work have since really confused the issue. I discovered this when attaching sources from Ancestry.com this last week.

She is the same person as G8H6-ZHD. However it is beyond my skill to correct the family connections, I believe because of ordinance work. Can this be looked at and corrected at your end? Mary and her children seem to be attached to a Richard Hearn Smith.....

Permission is given to view my tree. I shall be glad to provide user name, etc. if you need it.

FamilySearch is not allowed to make corrections to Family Tree. Our job is to teach guests how to do this themselves. Here is a really great article about unmerging. The link is below.

    Here is another great article.

If there are still people to merge, here is an article to help you.

It is a straightforward merge that any Family Tree contributor can do. On LHZN-LWM, merge G8H6-ZHD.

    Hello @TormeyDottie1,

There is a way for you to get in-person assistance with the unmerging and merging that will need to be done.

    From your computer,

    1. Go to the following site: https://www.familysearch.org/help/fhcenters/locations
    2. In the Search box, enter your location, and click Search.
    3. Select a center from the list that appears.
    4. Look for green FamilySearch tree icons on the map. Click an icon to see the name of the center, the address, hours of operation, and telephone number.

If you want to use the app to find a center, see the article below:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/where-do-i-find-a-family-history-center

Some centers are closed or have limited hours. Be sure to call before you go there.

    Best Wishes!

Thanks for response. I had pretty well done all of the above before trying to contact department help. I looked at it again last night...and found that there were problems "upstream"....merges for parents and grandparents that were not all resolved as well as they should be...so that would, of course, cause problems with the sealing ordinances for the family which started this process. Will slowly work on line from "way back" forward and hope problems resolve along the way. This is a gypsy line with a great many descendants entering "duplicates"...all in varying stages of expertise, so it will be a challenge.
