This batch is filled with issues. (250+ records)

Many surnames misspelled

Street addresses listed as first names

commas listed after each first name

many employers not listed

Is it possible to contact this indexer and talk them through the correct indexing process for Directories? I will clean up this batch but hope that indexer can be taught the correct procedure.

Thanks

Just my opinion, the better thing to do rather than correcting the batch would be to return the batch for reindexing and use the "Reason to Reindex Batch" form where you can mark off the problems with the batch. If FamilySearch thinks it is important, they can contact the indexer or reviewer who made the errors.

To activate the form, with the batch open click on the Help Tab. Go to Labs. Follow the instructions and activate the "Reasons to Reindex Batch" form.

All those commas should be removed too. We don't index punctuation that isn't there. Unless you have deleted a lot of entries, you will be the only reviewer on this batch.
