Is it normal to be able to access FamilySearch records, including Temple records, from My Heritage?
Just as an after thought ...
Personally, if I was you, I would raise/submit, the matter, that you have posted here in the "Q and A" Section; as, a NEW Idea in the "Ideas" (ie. 'Feedback') Section of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
[ Probably, under that 'Topic' of either, ]
Purely; and, simply, so that 'FamilySearch' can be TOTALLY aware of the matter.
The "Ideas" (ie. 'Feedback') Section is the BEST place for such, rather than the "Q and A" Section.
[ As, the "Q and A" Section is really about helping/assisting Users/Patrons, rather than 'Feedback' ... ]
Just a passing thought.
ps: I do such ALL the time, usually they know; but, sometimes, they do not.
pss: At least, 'FamilySearch' can address the matter directly with "MyHeritage".
Sorry for the DELAYED response.

As a FamilySearch Support person I am a little bit familiar with MyHeritage.com but if you have questions about their website, you should probably contact MyHeritage.com instead of FamilySearch.
I am not aware of a feature in MyHeritage.com that shows ordinances.
We can help if you are having trouble linking your FamilySearch account to your MyHeritage account.
Here is a FamilySearch article about getting help with partner products...
I am reasonably familiar with both FamilySearch and My Heritage.
This time I happened to go to My Heritage using the light bulb feature in Roots Magic, and in the information section of the person I was looking up there was a link to FamilySearch which went directly (no signing in) there, and I had access to all the records.
I suspect this is only available if you come in from Roots Magic which, of course, can be linked to FamilySearch records. However, I was not linked directly to the FamilySearch feature at the time.
This was the first time I can remember seeing the link to FamilySearch records on My Heritage, but I don't always pay attention to the complete record listings in My Heritage.
I am aware of the "ordinances link" on Ancestry. I don't know where to find it for MyHeritage. You may need to contact MyHeritage and explain that you are an LDS member and you would like to know how to find the link that takes you to FamilySearch ordinances.
I did not think there would be an ordinance link in EITHER Ancestry or My Heritage since NEITHER are Church web sites. (I haven't seen the one you mentioned in Ancestry.com.)
I know how to access FamilySearch and how to enter/combine/delete and find Temple ordinances there. I was just concerned that a NON-CHURCH web site had direct access to that information.
I am also very aware of the link to FamilySearch and ordinance information through Roots Magic since I use it all the time and that it has sanctioned access to the information.
I was not aware that either Ancestry.com or My Heritage or any other non-church research program had the access. I guess we learn something new every day. Thank you.
Dear @lindadahl1, Let's take this conversation to a "private" conversation since we are talking about ordinances and LDS information on a public forum. See your envelope in the top right corner of Community.
Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]
You must understand that ...
The "MyHerigate" Programme, just like the "Family Tree" (Programme) of 'FamilySearch' in continually being updated/revised.
As far back as I can remember, MANY times, that "MyHeritage", did an update/revision, the INTERFACE, between and "MyHeritage"; and, 'FamilySearch', was BROKEN (ie. U/S), for a period of time, until "MyHeritage". literally 'scrambled', to address/fix the problem/issue, on their end.
I am not saying it actually is, in this particular instance (ie. the matter you raise); but, I would humbly venture to suggest, that the fault/flaw, most probably lies with regard to any recent update/revision by "MyHeritage".
Sometimes, may be a significant "Change", to "Family Tree", by 'FamilySearch', that causes a problem/issue; but, 'FamilySearch' ALWAYS notifies the relevant stakeholders (eg. in this case, "MyHeritage") of the forthcoming "Change", well in advance; so that, the stakeholders, can take the appropriate action to their Programme.
I know; as, not so long ago, "MyHeritage" made some recent update/revision to their Programme, which BROKE the INTERFACE, between and "MyHeritage"; and, 'FamilySearch' - as, I raised 'Feedback' on the matter.
It did not take too long to address/fix; but, most of the work was required by "MyHeritage", at their, rather than 'FamilySearch'.
Hence, the reason, for the original suggestion, for you, as a User/Patron of "MyHeritage", to contact "MyHeritage" directly, in the first instance, to refence the matter, rather than 'FamilySearch'
Just my thoughts.
Thank you! I didn't think that should be happening without somehow needing to sign in to FamilySearch. What you say makes sense and I will contact My Heritage.
I also plan to contact Roots Magic since the link was between the suggestion "bulb" they provide to information in My Heritage and Find My Past and the information in My Heritage. It just didn't make any sense to suddenly find myself in the family tree section of FamilySearch with access to all the information without having to sign in somewhere.
I will be contacting both My Heritage and Roots Magic as I think it needs to be fixed.

Surprise!! I just talked to My Heritage and because I opened my account with them through FamilySearch, there was a link established that gives me access to FamilySearch in My Heritage once I sign in to My Heritage. According to the people at My Heritage, that link can only be severed by FamilySearch. I was assured that my free account would remain unchanged, I just would no longer have the link to FamilySearch on it.
Linda, you may need to reestablish the link between your FamilySearch account and your MyHeritage account. Here are a couple things you can do:
1) To break the link click your name in the top right corner of FamilySearch when you are signed in, then click Settings, then click Preferences. Slide down to Partner Access and click "Revoke Access" next to MyHeritage.
2) To re-link the accounts go to FamilySearch.org/partneraccess. Slide down and click "Join for Free" under My Heritage. Then click the second rectangle "Sign in to connect your account." Click the little box to accept the terms and click the orange "Go" button.
Let us know if you need any more help.
Thank you. I will save these instructions in case I ever want to re-establish the link. I probably won't as I never noticed it before, let alone used it. I have direct access to FamilySearch from RootsMagic, or I can just sign in to FamilySearch when I want information from it. I doubt I will ever use these remote accesses. But you never know. At least I now know what is happening!
