My maternal grandmother was descended from Italians on her father's side. I'd like to see more of his family (the Calabucci family), but there are no records before his father. How do I find more records?

Those blue icons mean Family Tree hints: historical records that may belong. Start there.

When you are in FamilySearch, click on Search in the upper left. There are seven categories that can help you find ancestors. Also, in the upper right, to the left of your name, is a question mark within a circle. Click on that and type in Finding Italian ancestors. Those are more places to search. Best to you!

You may also want to work with the Italy Genealogy Group in Community. They would be able to give you more information.
