How do I report Gross Indexing Errors?
In the Missouri, County Marriage... Court Records, 1800-1991, Film #007425061, a very large percentage of the 267 images have been indexed incorrectly. Although identified as a Grundy County Missouri Marriage Index, the location on many image index lines have been recorded as Grundy, Iowa and some as Grundy, Tennessee. Who should these errors be reported to, and how do I do that?

I have also noticed many indexing errors on the New Zealand Electoral Rolls for 1865-1957
Clearly, the country is New Zealand, not Myanmar or Marshal Is. I also do not know where/who/how to report this

@DavidNCraig The issue you presented came about from an auto-standardization project for places on older record collections. We will report it. Fixes are coming--but slowly, as the developers have quite a few of these they are working on. Meanwhile, please notice the Edit button when you are looking at a record details page (the page showing the indexed information). You can edit the place for your own ancestors to avoid some confusion.

@4george , @N Tychonievich, In the New Zealand, Electoral Rolls, 1865-1957, I did some searches using the last name Smith and the following non-New Zealand places. Thousands of results were returned for the places and years listed below.
- South Island, Marshall Islands: 1893, 1899, 1905, 1911, 1919.
- North Island, Myanmar: 1914, 1922.
- North Island, Ayeyarwadi, Myanmar: 1919.
In addition to this, there are very many entries that have just "North Island, New Zealand" and "South Island, New Zealand" as standardized "Event Place", but have a more detailed "Event Place (Original)". In many cases there are standard places already available that match the original place. For example, existing standardized place "Riccarton Electorate, Canterbury, New Zealand" matches original place "Riccarton New Zealand" which is currently standardized as "South Island, New Zealand". In fact, if you start entering "Riccarton New Zealand" into a person's Residence event, the appropriate standard place soon appears in the drop-down list.
It would be much more helpful if, as a first step in correcting the plainly wrong standardizations (list items 1 to 3) and improving the generic standardizations (previous paragraph), all of these specific standardizations could be removed. This would allow the original place names to be displayed in the search result lists, so the user wouldn't have to select each result in turn to see the original place. As a second step, when a better process is available at a later date, the standardization could be repeated.
