My batch is due in a couple of days and I need to extend the due date. How is this possible?

Can I extend the indexing batch due date?

    Article Id: 1390

Batches usually expire after seven days. In order to prevent delays in the indexing process, due dates cannot be extended.

Our goal is to be as quick as we can in getting our records out to people searching for their ancestors. This means doing our best to keep our projects on schedule.

If you are unable to complete a batch by the deadline, the batch is made available for another indexer to finish; however, the work you have completed on the batch is saved.

Thank you for your efforts in helping us make our records more searchable and available.

I recognize this, but this batch I picked up Sunday and is due tomorrow - less than 7 days. All I need is another day as it has a fair number of entries to complete.

Midnight GMT tomorrow. When projects are close to being finished they often shorten the expiration time.

There isn't a way in the system to extend the due date on a batch.
