Someone other than me put my information into my family tree and used my married name instead of my maiden name. I need to know how to change my name. Thanks!

    Ann Marie,

You can change your name by going to your person page and clicking on your name in the Vitals section and then clicking Edit. Change your name to what you would like it to be and then click Save.

If you are new to the tree, you get to the "person page" by clicking on the name in the tree and then on Person at the bottom of the card that pops up.

I'm sure you will find these two articles helpful.

Obviously you are a living person, so that page should not be on the public tree at all. It needs to be changed from Deceased to Living, or deleted.
