Hi I was wondering if someone would be able to translate this record from 1 January 1832. I am also concerned that the mother's name is Barbara Zbinden, which would have been her mother's married name, but I am thinking they still used the maiden names in that time frame. Thanks for your help. Sharon

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Please be advised that your 'Post' here, DOES NOT, appear to be associated with ANY particular 'Group', in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    Your 'Post' here, seems to have 'fallen into the cracks', into a nonexistent 'Group'.

    In fact, that "Research Groups", in NOT a 'Group' (ie. 'per se'), in itself; but, it is a "Heading" (or, "Level"), for a grouping, of a number of related 'Group(s)'.

    As such ...

    Can I humbly suggest, that you REPOST, this post of your, in this particular 'Group', for Switzerland:

    Switzerland Genealogy Research

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/185-switzerland-genealogy-research

    https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/185-switzerland-genealogy-research

    Description:

    SA group that covers all things Swiss, handling topics such as research, Family History Library classes, collections, websites, and changes in the world of genealogy for Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

    Where the members of that group may be able to help/assist you (regarding that 'Translation).

    Please be aware that ...

    IF, you are NOT already a member of that particular 'Group'; THEN, you will need to "Join" that 'Group' to post any 'Questions'; or, "Requests" (for help/assistance).

    I hope this helps.

    Brett

    ps: Although, I am one of the 'Group Leaders", of some groups, I DO NOT have the access/ability, to "Move" you 'Post' to the aforementioned 'Group', like we used to be able to do - otherwise, I would simply "Move" your 'Post' to that aforementioned 'Group'.

    @Mark McLemore
