How do I correct the fact that I am not dead in my FAMILY TREE.

I am listed as both dead and alive as children of my parents under two different numbers. I have written to the person who made me dead and told them they are in error. What else do I need to do>

To change yourself from deceased to living, you will need to do the steps in the article we are attaching:

    https://www.familysearch.org/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-change-the-status-from-deceased-to-living-in-family-tree

Whenever a living person record is created they get a number. If someone else also creates a record for this person, the number will be different. You are going to the person page showing you as deceased and editing that record. As the article says, if you didn't create the record, you will edit the death, then it will go to another department to be reviewed and fixed. We hope this solves your problem. Please reply to this message if it does not.

The reason you see yourself as living is because you entered your own information. The deceased information may be edited by you - you do not have to be the person who entered the data. Just go to the death information and click on the "Living" at the top of the record - you will be alive again - welcome back.

You can say the rumor of your death has been "greatly exaggerated".

I am Donald Richard Bollenbacher. I was born March 2, 1936 in Toledo Ohio. I typed my data into familysearch over 20 years ago along with about 2000 family members. I suspect your volunteer has declared me deceased. Seems like you should ask by phone or letter.
