Need a mistake corrected ASAP
Hi,
While helping my mother try to add death info for my grandfather, we accidentally entered the information on my father, who is living (They have the same names, just flip-flopped first and middle names). Because of our mistake, his information is exposed because he is listed as deceased. Over a week ago, we requested to correct the error on his page, but I notice it is still showing he is deceased. Can someone please help us change him back to living ASAP? Thank you.
His info is:

It appears that the department handling dead to living requests has a backlog at the moment, but they are working very hard to clear it. We ask for your continued patience.

Hello @n.arnold.
You mention that you requested that this error be corrected. How did you request the correction? Changing a person from dead to living requires only that you follow the instructions in the article listed here.
"If you are not the only contributor:
- Navigate to the person page of the individual who is living.
- Click Details.
- In the Vitals section, next to the listed death date, select Edit.
- In the box that appears, click the circle labeled Living.
- Enter how you know the person is still alive.
- Click Save.
- Enter an explanation for the system administrator to review your request. Please provide this information:
- Your relationship to the individual needing attention.
- An how you know the person is alive.
- If possible, the living person's current physical address.
- Click Submit.
"A request now goes to FamilySearch Support. A system administrator reviews your request and takes appropriate actions."
Notice that there will be a period of time until the system administrator reviews your request and takes the appropriate action.

Hi, you can rectify this error yourself. Go into the person page of Eugene and in vitals scroll down to where it says deceased and edit information. You could try looking at this article in which you can access from the help center.
How do I change vital information in Family Tree ?

@sue c, you're mistaken: changing "deceased" to "living" is not quite as trivial as changing other vital information, and users cannot rectify this error themselves. MNuttall gave the correct instructions.

Thank you. We did the steps as described by Mnuttal over a week ago and it has not yet been corrected. That is why I am requesting it be corrected sooner if possible. Is there a way to expedite it? I feel awful because my father's information can be viewed by anyone and was hoping it would have been corrected quickly.
