Microfilm Reader

Our center's microfilm reader is not in use. The rubber band to the image rotation knob broke off thus the microfilm picture is in a right angle position. How can I get it repaired or is it even possible?

You didn't state the model of your reader, I did find this information for the NMI2020. It is the responsibility of the Family History center to repair the readers.

This article may help. It doesn't speak to a particular model, but I think it will be helpful. Most films have been digitized so the need for readers is slowly becoming obsolete.

Thank you, We had several readers in which we got rid of but we kept 2 in case for those that weren't digitized yet.
