How to find ancestors when and where birth/death unknown?
I have hit a brick wall trying to find my great grandparents. I have their names and some of their children's names. I know where my grandfather was born and when, so kind of have a place of residence for great grandparents. I can not locate any information on them or the other children. It doesn't help that it's a very common last name and possibly may have changed spelling. My grandfather was Charles John Jones(Junes) born in 1883 in Pittsburgh, PA and his parents were Charles Jones(Junes) and Fanny Wilson. Any suggestions on how to find them?

You could check on line for genealogical groups in areas where you know he lived. Look in the local libraries for records that have not been put on line.
